As a child I traveled throughout the US in a vintage travel trailer, visiting distant places and campgrounds and seeing many varieties of trailers. This series of drawings is based on authentic trailer models combined with traditional Talavera designs. The most outstanding of Mexico’s pottery traditions, authentic Talavera is only created in six colors, but these interpretations expand the limits of color and design.
